Business Analyst (Senior) & Consultant (Current)

One Dot is looking for a full-time Senior Business Analyst and Consultant to come and help us meet our customers’ needs!

 

Location: Brisbane or Sydney

 

Role Overview

Combining IT and business knowledge, the world of IT consultancy demands a broad range of skills. Our consultants work in partnership with clients, advising them on technology, processes and project management in order to meet their business objectives. Our consultants provide strategic guidance to clients with regard to technology, IT infrastructures and enabling major business processes through enhancements to IT.

They also provide guidance during selection and procurement, as well as providing expert technical assistance. IT consultants may also be involved in sales and business development.

Requirements

  • Multi-skilled and versatile
  • Strong analytic capability
  • Ability to transform ideas to developed concepts
  • Strong background in business analysis
  • Strong documentation skills:
    • Business Requirements Documentation
    • Technical Specifications Documentation
    • Business Process Design and Re-Engineering
  • Agile and Scrum experience
  • Knowledge of Software Release Management process and practices and the SDLC
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to all levels
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel
  • Create use cases/features/epics/user stories/acceptance criteria

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree (preferably in an IT related discipline)
  • Industry certification (PMBOK, BABOK, CSM, CPO, SPC, Prince2…)
  • Minimum 5 years as a business analyst

Atlassian / JIRA System Administrator (Current)

Overview

One Dot is looking for an experienced Atlassian / JIRA System Administrator with solid experience with setup, maintenance, upgrading, migrating, and supporting Atlassian products including Jira and Confluence in a Linux and/or Windows environment, to join our team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Install, upgrade, and configure Atlassian products including JIRA, Confluence,  JIRA Software, Service Desk
  • Solid experience with Linux, MySQL, and Postgres administration
  • Manage and administrate JIRA workflows, permissions, customisation, reports and notifications, and dashboards
  • Perform project, workflow, and instance data migration and merges
  • Implement and manage Bitbucket
  • Perform Jira and Confluence upgrades
  • Troubleshoot instance issues and provide support as required

 

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Can work at our Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne office.

 

Essential Skills:

  • 2+ yrs. as an Atlassian / JIRA Administrator
  • 4+ yr as UNIX/Linux administrator
  • Experience with SDLC and project management methods including Scrum and Agile

One Dot is looking for an experienced Atlassian / JIRA administrator with solid experience with configuring, and supporting Atlassian products including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Desk, to join our team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Configure Atlassian products including JIRA, Confluence,  and JIRA Service Desk
  • Manage and administrate JIRA workflows, permissions, instance customisation, reports, notifications, and dashboards
  • Manage Confluence including templates, permissions, customisations, spaces, navigation, and pages
  • Manage and administrate Atlassian Marketplace addons / apps
  • Manage instance configuration using the Atlassian product UI’s
  • Troubleshoot instance issues and provide support as required

 

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Can work at our Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne office.

  • 2-3 + yrs. as an Atlassian / JIRA, Confluence, Service Desk Administrator
  • Experience with Marketplace addons / apps to enhance Atlassian product capabilities
